Principality Premiership side Neath RFC were the first Welsh rugby club to track us on twitter.
Links were quickly established.
I don't quite know how it all started but I do know it was down to multimedia manager Ian Golden that Neath pro-actively made contact.
What Ian did not know is I had cousins in Wales who grew up supporting Neath, so – to me – it kind of made sense. Things like that happen when you come from a sports-loving family.
The Welsh All Blacks have been on my rugby radar for a long time as their club emblem is a bold black and white.
Although a different design to the Cornish flag it is something that caught my eye at an early age.
Neath RFC - who play at The Gnoll - have an excellent official website and you can also track them on twitter, which provides regular updates.
