OUR GOAL at South West Sports News

Passionate about sport? So are we. That's why freelance journalist Ross Reid launched South West Sports News in April 2008.

Our word-of-mouth, eco-friendly, green game plan is to promote sports people from the tip of South West England to the top of South Wales and everywhere in between - young and old, female and male, grassroots participants to Olympians and Paralympians.

South West Sports News wants everyone to know about our amazing SW sports community, athletes, bloggers, clubs, coaches, volunteers, supporters, support networks, teams, twitter accounts, podcasts, sports journalists, specialist sports shows and websites.

As far as we are concerned there are only winners because there is no competition.

We are all in this together, promoting sport, enabling everyone to enjoy sport.

Our bywords are teamwork works.

The South West Sports News team has one simple goal: to keep regional sport to the fore.

We have always put sports news on the front page.

Why? Because, in three little words: we love sport.
