Defending champions Wiltshire have everything to play for as they meet unbeaten Lancashire in today’s 2012 England Golf men’s county finals final round at Beau Desert GC in Staffordshire (0800 tee off).
West champions Wiltshire - skippered by David Bauer - have won both their opening matches and top the table ahead of their title showdown with the 2010 county champions.

University of Exeter and Bath Buccs both hit five goals as Guildford’s winning West start came to an end at unbeaten Cheltenham.
Free scoring Exeter soared to second following a 5-1 win at Fareham and goals for Josh Godfrey (4, 41) Andrew Ross (12pc) James Carson (22) and Ian White (59).

Fleur Horner’s second placed Clifton maintained their unbeaten Premier Division start with a 2-2 draw at Leicester – despite trailing twice to the defending champions.

Plymouth should have been ahead at half time and deservedly took the lead on 50 minutes when on-loan Burnley forward Alex MacDonald latched on to a Guy Madjo pass before driving the ball underneath United keeper Daniel Bentley.
United’s on-loan Watford striker Britt Assombalonga replied five minutes later with a superb solo goal.

Some cracking Men’s Conference West matches today start with unbeaten Cheltenham against pace setters Guildford at Balcarras (1230).
Both sides got off to flying round one starts with Cheltenham beating Bath Buccs 4-0 and Guildford winning 5-2 against Havant.
