Plymouth's world champion Tom Daley will lead the British Gas GBR Diving Team into competition at the World Championships in Shanghai next month.
World-famous teenage sports star Daley - who is a student at Plymouth College and coached by Andy Banks at Plymouth Diving - will spearhead Britain's challenge along with Olympic silver medallist Pete Waterfield.

Gloucestershire topped the English Women's Golf Association South West Region leaderboard in dramatic style at North Wilts Golf Club.
The Gloucestershire girls waited until the final round to take over at the top by becoming the first team of the week to defeat defending champions Dorset, 5 ½ - 3 ½, and subsequently qualify for the EWGA county finals.

Werrington Cricket Club are looking forward to a home ECB National Club Championship Area Final against Bridgwater on Sunday July 3 following yesterday's thrilling one-wicket win at St Austell.
Werrington, requiring 173, got the winning runs in the last over at Wheal Eliza.

New Torquay United boss Martin Ling is hoping for third time lucky when he next speaks to popular Gulls winger Danny Stevens.
Ling has already held talks with out-of-contract Stevens and is hopeful of completing a deal to retain the 24-year-old attacking midfielder this weekend.

The Great Britain team for August's 3rd FINA World Junior Swimming Championships in Lima, Peru, will include Plymouth Leander's rising young star Grant Halsall and Bath teenage swiming sensation Siobhan-Marie O'Connor.
The 18-strong squad announced by British Swimming also includes Amelia Maughan (Millfield/British Gas ITC Bath) as well as new senior national 200 metres individual medley champion O’Connor (TeamBath/Bath University).
