Falmouth Town moved up to second place in the Peninsula West table after demolishing poor Wadebridge at Bodieve Park.

Andrew Westgarth’s side were 4-0 up by the 35^th minute and increased their lead to six just after the hour before Sam Gerken notched a late consolation for the Bridgers.

Rikki Shepherd warmed up the freezing crowd at Jenkins Park with a red hot performance as South West Peninsula East pace setters Millbrook progressed to the FA Vase second round for the first time.

The Brook are back at Jenkins Park next Saturday for a second round tie against Wessex Premier side Bashley from Hampshire.

Helston won a dramatic FA Vase penalty shootout 4-3 at St Blazey to book their place in today's second round draw.

After an enthralling weather-beating all-Cornwall first round tie ended 2-2, Blazey established a 3-1 penalty lead but missed their last two spot kicks as Helston converted their final three.

Dan Jennings returned to haunt his former club Wadebridge with both goals as Bodmin took the spoils in a lively local derby at Bodieve Park.

The striker, a popular player during his time with the Bridgers, struck in the 36^th and 57^th minutes to take his season’s tally to 16 as Darren Gilbert’s side put together arguably their best all-round 90 minutes of the season.
