NCCA-Logo MasterWiltshire opened their *NCCA Trophy campaign with a 14 runs victory over Dorset at Bashley.

Wiltshire captain Ed Young’s unbeaten run-a-ball 103 was the centrepiece of his side’s innings before Oli Soames kept Dorset in the hunt with 67.


MINOR COUNTIES Divisions sorted for next season

Devon will play in the Second Division after Cornwall’s Tom Dinnis produced career-best performances with bat and ball to set up an 81 runs win at Exeter.

Dinnis, whose previous highest score was 23, made 41 and shared a last wicket stand of 70 with Andrew Libby.


MINOR COUNTIES Winners Wiltshire face waiting game

Shropshire will play in Division Two of the Western Division when the Championship is reorganised next season after they were beaten by seven wickets by Wiltshire inside two days at Marlborough.

Slow left-armer Jake Lintott took five for 21 to finish with impressive match figures of eight for 38 as Shropshire managed to only equal their first innings total of 123.


MINOR COUNTIES Cornwall break Berkshire's winning run

Ecb LogoDefending champions Berkshire reached their fourth consecutive Minor Counties Championship final despite their run of 12 successive wins coming to an end St Austell where they had to settle for a draw against Cornwall.

Middlesex wicketkeeper/batsman Jack Davie again demonstrated his class with an unbeaten 111 out of Berkshire’s 207 for eight declared.


MINOR COUNTIES Herefordshire edge past Wiltshire

held their nerve to snatch a dramatic one wicket victory over Wiltshire in a tense Minor Counties Championship Western Division match at Brockhampton.

A match of fluctuating fortunes was decided when Dan Conway scampered a single off off-spinner Joe King to take Herefordshire to a target of 207.


MINOR COUNTIES Peploe rescues champions at St Austell

Defending Minor Counties champions Berkshire were indebted to Chris Peploe for digging them out of trouble against Cornwall in their Western Division round five clash at St Austell.

Berkshire are used to Peploe rescuing them with the ball but on this occasion the former Middlesex slow left-armer came to their aid with the bat, by making an aggressive run-a-ball 41.
