NATIONAL LEAGUE North & South suspended

Vanarama NL logoThe National League has suspended it's North & South divisions for two weeks with immediate effect.

All of today's National League North & National League South fixtures are postponed.

At a National League board meeting yesterday it was decided to halt participation in the North & South leagues for a two-week period following review of feedback from this week's clubs' meeting.

National League top flight fixtures are still set to go ahead as planned today/this weekend.

Yesterday's decision means Gloucester City - who top National League North by six points from second placed Chester - will not host third placed AFC Fylde in a top of the table clash today.

Also called off is Hereford's home NLN game against 11th placed Farsley Celtic and two games in NLS involving regional sides.

17th placed Bath City's basement clash at 19th placed Braintree Town and Chippenham Town's home mid-table match against Hemel are put on ice...
