Plymouth argyle crestOn-loan Birmingham City playmaker Olly Lee makes his Plymouth Argyle and seasonal debut against League 2 promotion rivals Luton Town at Home Park today (1500).

London-born Lee, 23, is included in John Sheridan’s selection after joining Plymouth on loan from the Blues, where he made 20 first team forays last term – including 16 Championship appearances – scoring twice.

Plymouth Argyle central defensive rock Peter Hartley courtesy & copyright Dave RowntreePlymouth Argyle FC manager John Sheridan is confident of signing a central defender on loan before Saturday's League Two clash at Southend United as defensive rock Peter Hartley (hip flexor) is ruled out by injury.

Hartlepool-born Hartley, 26, has been been impressive at the heart of the greens defence throughout this season but told to rest up for at least 10 days and could face a 2-3 weeks spell before returning to first team duty.

Fresh from their first Championship win, Gary Johnson's Yeovil Town visit Southend United in Capital One Cup round one tonight.

Midfielder Ed Upson scored Yeovil's historic first Championship goal – winner – in the 88th minute of a 1-0 victory at Millwall on Saturday while Southend beat Plymouth Argyle 1-0 in League Two at Roots Hall thanks to a 15th minute strike from Barry Corr, signed for the Shrimpers by former United and Argyle boss Paul Sturrock.
