Inspirational skipper Gavin Cattle is set to play his 200th Cornish Pirates match in tomorrow's British & Irish Cup opener against Ulster Ravens at the Mennaye (1945).
Now in his seventh season as a Pirate, Bridgend-born scrum half Cattle, 33, leads a side which welcomes back fit-again wing Matt Evans, meaning Kieran Goss switches to full-back.
Prop Kieran Davies and lock Will Graulich start while prop Shane Cahill – injured in pre-season – is included on the bench along with flanker Joe Atkinson and prop Peter Joyce, on loan at Bournemouth and Taunton respectively.
