TRAINING DAYS offer to clubs tracking @swsportsnews

South West Sports News logoWe are humbled - and inspired - on a daily basis by hundreds of teams who support South West Sports News and track the hub on twitter or follow on facebook.

In some small way of repaying your regional sports club we have kicked off a permanent free fixture on the website.

Our intention is to list training days so your community club can - hopefully - attract new members.

The initial aim is to repay hockey, netball and rugby union teams who track SWSN on twitter however there is no reason why other sports clubs who follow @swsportsnews cannot get involved.

As with all things related to this site, it will be an organic, one-man driven process.

Success will depend on your input, with the hope that clubs from Penzance to Pontypridd send in details of their weekly training schedules.

We want this free service to be for amateur/non-professional sports clubs who are actively seeking new players/members.

The goal is to list as many senior training nights for clubs and teams as we can. We just want people to participate.

We have started to list junior club training schedules in the grassroots section of SWSN.

As always this process requires pro-activity (and patience) on your part to create a successful regionwide guide.

If you would like to list your club's training nights contact South West Sports News via twitter @swsportsnews using a hashtag relating to your sport, ie #swcricket #swhockey #swnetball #swrugby #swhandball #swvolleyball #swathletics #swkorfball etc

IMPORTANT: INCLUDE club's full name, training times, venue and postcode

• aim to try and use #tryrugby tag etc... #tryhockey #trynetball #trycricket #tryhandball #tryvolleyball... to get more people involved or back playing sport again.

The rugby training nights list is fast approaching 23,000 hits, includes over 60 pro-active community teams and has become a popular, permanent fixture.

Now it's your club's turn...
