Exeter's double Commwealth Games backstroke gold medallist Liam Tancock and Plymouth Leander's butterfly silver medallist Antony James teamed up for England to win bronze medals in the men's 4x 100m medley relay at the 2010 Delhi Commonwealth Games.

Tancock put England ahead after the first 100 in 53.66 and James kept England in the hunt for silver in the third leg but England (3.36.31)  just missed out with South Africa claiming silver in 3.36.12.

Australia claimed gold with a Games record 3.33.51 swim.

It was great to see two Devonians pooling their talent and proudly representing the county, region and their country in a Commonwealth Games final.
