University of Bath-based athlete Matt Weston was crowned World Champion after winning men’s skeleton gold in magnificent fashion in St Moritz.

The in-form slider, who was crowned European Champion last week, set a new course record on his way to becoming the first British man to win the global title since Kristan Bromley 15 years ago.

Fit-again Josh McNally is set to make his return to action when Bath Rugby tackle Sale Sharks away in their first Premiership match of 2023 tonight, 1945ko.

The 32-year-old forward featured three times at the beginning of the season before injuring his shoulder. After almost four months of rehabilitation with the club’s medical team, McNally has been named in the second row alongside Dave Attwood.
