Truro City player manager Lee Hodges has expressed his delight at signing veteran striker Barry Hayles on the eve of today’s Blue Square Bet South home clash against Maidenhead United (Treyew Road 1500).
The 40-year-old former Bristol Rovers, Fulham, Plymouth Argyle and Cheltenham Town ace is set to return to the Truro squad following a brief spell at Southern League Premier side St Albans City.

Exeter Chiefs forwards James Hanks and Ben White have agreed new two year deals with the Aviva Premiership club.
Hanks has made 176 appearances for the club and is one of the club's longest-serving players having made his debut for Chiefs against the Cornish Pirates in 2005.

At the time of posting this update, Cheltenham Town's eagerly anticipated all ticket FA Cup replay against Hereford United (Edgar Street 1945) was unaffected by the big chill as was the top of the table Conference clash between Newport County and Paul Buckle's Luton Town however Rodney Parade did undergo a 1730 pitch inspection by referee Rob Whitton.
