Bristol Rovers have parted company with manager Paul Tisdale ahead of Saturday's home game against fellow League One strugglers Swindon Town (1500ko).Rovers head of recruitment Tommy Widdrington will take temporary charge of the first team while the Bristol club source a successor to Tisdale. Assistant manager Jack Mesure and first team coach Kevin Maher will assist Widdrington.

Last night's Barrow AFC versus Exeter City League Two clash was postponed less than an hour before kick off due to a frozen pitch.Barrow AFC confirmed the postponement "following a further inspection by (match) officials".
Teams and officials set up an earlier 1830 kick off (from 1900) in an attempt to beat plummetting sub-zero temperatures.
