A LAST gasp penalty by Fletcher Williams (pictured) enabled Ivybridge Town to rescue a point with a 1-1 draw at home to Okehampton in the South West Peninsula League.

It needed a half-time pep talk from manager Darren Stewart to spark some life into the Ivybridge side after a below par first half in which they were fortunate to escape with a single goal deficit at the interval.

FOUR days after failing to find a goal in their last home eague game of the season against Street, Millbrook ended their campaign by hitting five at bottom club Cadbury Heath on Saturday.

Macca Brown’s men will finish mid-table 13th in the Premier Division - barring two big wins for Wellington in their last two games - and that’s some achievement given the club’s meagre playing budget.
