LEADING scorer Jordan Ewing grabbed a late equaliser as Ivybridge picked up an away point from their 1-1 draw at Torrington in the South West Peninsula League on Saturday.

The first half proved goalless with Ivybridge failing to find the finishing touch despite playing well and creating some good openings.

The frustrations of football were there for all to see as Millbrook failed to capitalise on a dominant first hour at the Lancer Scott Stadium on Saturday.

They had no goals to show for their efforts and when Joe Banks broke the deadlock for United, the writing was on the wall for Macca Brown’s boys.
