GAMES RECORD FOR GOLDEN BOY TANCOCK

Tancock set a new Games record for the discipline winning the final in 24.62 to finish almost half a second up on runner-up Hayden Stoeckel of Australia.

The Plymouth Leander swim star will now concentrate on his preferred discipline, the 100m butterfly, which starts tomorrow.

Leander returned to Plymouth with a 91-medal haul including 33 golds and 28 silvers following another highly successful weekend for the club.

PLYMOUTH LEANDER'S NATIONAL CUP HAT-TRICK

The star-studded Leander squad won 23 of the 50 events, totalling 422 points to ease to victory over nine of the country's top 10 swim teams at the national cup final. Eight meet record were claimed by the Plymouth team.
