Bath Rugby back Matt Banahan last night joined the England training camp preparing for Saturday's RBS 6 Nations match against Scotland at Murrayfield.
Jersey-born Banahan, 25, was a member of the England Saxons side that beat Irish Wolfhounds 23-17 at Exeter on Saturday and takes over from injured Gloucester centre Henry Trinder (ankle) in the senior squad.

Today Exeter-born Matt Hopper will live the dream and step out in an England shirt in front his hometown supporters.
Tomorrow Harlequins centre Hopper celebrates his 27th birthday but the Devonian will think all his birthdays have come at once this evening if he can help send the Irish Wolfhounds packing at Sandy Park (1700).

Bath wing Matt Banahan is relishing the opportunity to “put in a performance” in front of a packed Sandy Park when England Saxons take on Irish Wolfhounds tonight (1700).
The 25-year-old from Jersey is one of five senior members of the Saxons side – average age 24 and four months – and admits: “It’s lovely at Sandy Park, we have been training there this week, it’s got great facilities and it’s a great stadium.

James Gaskell will lead England Saxons for the first time against the O2 Ireland Wolfhounds at Exeter on Saturday (1700).
Gaskell, 21, captained Sale Sharks last season and leads a Saxons side with an average age of just 24 years and four months at Sandy Park.
