FOUR goals from leading scorer Jordan Ewing powered Ivybridge to a 5-2 away win over Torridgeside in the South West Peninsula League.

Ewing brought his season’s total to 20 goals as Ivybridge collected a welcome victory to maintain their promotion challenge in the East Division where they remain in third position, closing the gap on second placed Crediton, who were held to a 1-1 draw by Bridport.

LEADING scorer Jordan Ewing grabbed a late equaliser as Ivybridge picked up an away point from their 1-1 draw at Torrington in the South West Peninsula League on Saturday.

The first half proved goalless with Ivybridge failing to find the finishing touch despite playing well and creating some good openings.

IVYBRIDGE Town returned to winning ways in the South West Peninsula League with a comfortable 5-0 home victory over Elmore on Saturday.

It was a pleasing performance by Ivybridge, who eased into a 2-0 interval lead with goals from Jordan Ewing (30^th min) and Fletcher Williams (35).
