Western League leaders Willand Rovers carry South West non-league hopes into the FA Vase quarter finals today.

The mid-Devon village side came back from trailing twice at home to score an historic 3-2 win over Lincolnshire’s impressive Deeping Rangers and reach the Vase last eight for the first time three weeks ago.

Torquay United's top of the table National League South game at home to Chelmsford City has been rescheduled for Tuesday March 5 (1945).

Gary Johnson's table-topping Gulls were due to host the third placed Clarets on Saturday but the game was postponed due to a waterlogged Plainmoor pitch following torrential downpours.

National League South leaders Torquay United's match against Chelmsford City - fixtured for today - was postponed yesterday.

The match referee inspected Plainmoor at 1245 and decided the game should be postponed due to a waterlogged pitch following torrential downpours and despite best efforts of United's ground staff.

FA Vase quarter finalists Willand Rovers opened up a six-point lead at the Western League Premier summit following a rainswept 2-0 home win over free scoring Shepton Mallet.

Dean Stamp's double sealed Rovers success, scoring on 15 and 84 minutes.
