2017 runaway champions Bath CC start their West of England Premier Cricket League defence at newly promoted Taunton St Andrews CC while last season’s runners-up Clevedon CC host Bridgwater CC at Dial Hill.


MINOR COUNTIES Trophy wins for Cornwall and Wiltshire

England & Wales Cricket board three lionsCornwall and Wiltshire cricketers made winning starts to the Minor Counties season yesterday with Unicorns KO Trophy preliminary round victories.

The Duchy beat Dorset by seven wickets at North Perrott CC while Wiltshire edged to a two-wicket win over Wales Minor Counties at Warminster CC with an over to spare.


CORNWALL CRICKET League leaders Truro visit Saints

Defending champions St Just CC host Helston CC , Penzance CC play Grampound Road CC, promoted Hayle CC entertain Redruth CC while Falmouth CC travel to Werrington CC.


Falmouth and Truro set up cup semi final clash

Troon CC were restricted to 76-6 at Falmouth who went on to win by six wickets with five overs to spare.


Penzance win 2017 Cornwall Cricket Premier Cup

Cornwall Cricket choughPenzance CC won the first major Cornwall Cricket League silverware of summer by winning a low-scoring Premier 40/40 Cup final against Truro CC by 63 runs at Hayle CC.

Penzance made 111 all out with player of the match Christian Purchase holding the innings together with a patient 52.


CORNWALL CRICKET Penzance KO Vinter Cup holders

Penzance were 147 all out with Christian Purchase making 46.
