Plymouth Argyle boss John Sheridan was full of praise for his “outstanding” League Two play-off chasing greens.

Elliot Benyon's brilliant ping header finish to Ben Harding's 40th minute cross was not enough to stop Torquay United from sliping to the Football League basement following a 1-1 home draw with promotion chasing Burton.
United could have claimed a Plainmoor win through substitute Billy Bodin's pacy 20 yard free kick in the third minute of stoppage time.

Exeter City boss Paul Tisdale hailed his young League Two side for weathering an early storm to win the last Devon derby of 2013.
Tisdale said: "We were made to work for it and had to weather an early storm. I thought we were too open in the first quarter of the match so we adjusted at half time to stop their flow and from then on it went our way."

Torquay United boss Alan Knill praised on-loan Millwall striker John Marquis for his 50th minute winner as the Gulls ended Southend United’s seven-match unbeaten run 1-0 at Plainmoor.
Knill said: “John has scored two in the last two games and if I was a centre half I know I wouldn’t want to play against him.

John Sheridan praised his progressive, young Plymouth side for their flying start in a 3-1 FA Cup second round win over Welling United.
The Argyle boss said: “We asked for a good start and the result, and that’s what we got.
