Exeter Chiefs have added a third new face for next season with the acquisition of powerhouse South African forward Aidon Davis.

The 27-year-old follows Leinster duo Jack Dunne and Rory O’Loughlin in sealing a move to Sandy Park, arriving in Devon from the Bloemfontein-based Cheetahs.

Plymouth Argyle boss Steven Schumacher praised his League One top form side as they made it six League One wins on the spin by beating visiting Cheltenham 2-0.

Schumacher said: “That’s six clean sheets, which is brilliant and it’s not just the goalkeeper and the defenders, it’s everybody, it’s such a team effort to keep a clean sheet and it’s not easy but we’ve done it again.”
