Weymouth have appointed goalkeeper Jason Matthews as player-manager of their Southern League Premier first team.
The 38-year-old keeper – caretaker boss at Weymouth since they parted company with Brendon King a month ago – will be guest at a special Terras’ fans forum following next Saturday’s home league match against Corby Town.

Truro City manager Steve Massey is set to recall FA Cup match winner Liam Eddy for tonight's Southern League Premier match against Frome Town (Treyew Road 1945).
Eddy scored a sensational last-minute 30-yard winner for City on their last home outing as they beat resilient Street 1-0 in the cup but started on the bench for Saturday's 2-0 league defeat at St Neots.

Poole Town extended their lead at the Southern League Division One South & West summit to four points following last night's top versus bottom 2-0 home win over Winchester City at Tatnam.
Former Winchester ace Micheal Charles (59 mins) and Carl Preston (61) scored for the promotion-chasing Dolphins, now with three games in hand on second placed Hungerford Town with 10 remaining.

Truro City player manager Lee Hodges has expressed his delight at signing veteran striker Barry Hayles on the eve of today’s Blue Square Bet South home clash against Maidenhead United (Treyew Road 1500).
The 40-year-old former Bristol Rovers, Fulham, Plymouth Argyle and Cheltenham Town ace is set to return to the Truro squad following a brief spell at Southern League Premier side St Albans City.
