SW FOOTBALL: BIDEFORD UNBEATEN RUN HITS 20

bideford afc logoBideford stretched their superb Evo-Stik League Southern Division One South & West unbeaten run to 20 matches following a 2-1 win at third from bottom Clevedon Town.

Ian Sampson (33 mins) and skipper Matt Hockley (63) scored for Sean Joyce’s Robins as they hit the 70-point mark by notching their 21st league win.

BLUEBIRDS REWARDED WITH HOME DRAW

Les Phillips Cup holders Ilfracombe Town have been drawn at home to Toolstation Western League Premier rivals Odd Down in this season's quarter finals.

Ilfracombe beat promotion-chasing First Division visitors Melksham Town 2-0 with goals from Ross Middleton (pen) and Tom Rossiter, who headed home a 56th minute cross from Bluebirds’ man of the match Steve Holland.
