King of the spin helps Wiltshire win Trophy opener

NCCA-Logo MasterGloucestershire Academy batsman Ollie Meadows played a key innings on debut for Wiltshire to help them to a three wickets win against Dorset at Marlborough College. 

Wiltshire were wobbling at 72 for four before Meadows (43) joined Ben Draper (50) in a fifth wicket stand of 88 which got them most of their way to a target of 195.

Oxfordshire win National Counties T20 Trophy at Tring

NCCA-Logo MasterOxfordshire added the National Counties T20 title to the three-day National Counties Championship they won last September with a thrilling two wickets win over Cambridgeshire in a tense final at Tring Park. 

A superb 84 from Harrison Ward, one of five homegrown players who are now contracted to first-class counties in Oxfordshire’s side, got them most of the way to a target of 170 – the highest score of Finals Day.

CRICKET Dorset & Oxfordshire through to T20 finals day

NCCA-Logo MasterOxfordshire, Dorset, Cheshire and Cambridgeshire booked their places at National Counties T20 Finals Day at Tring Park on May 22 on a tense final day of group matches. 

Oxfordshire sat out the final round of matches and had to watch from afar before their place in the semi-finals was secured following a day of dramatic twists and turns at Ampthill where Bedfordshire hosted Berkshire.

NATIONAL COUNTIES T20 round four round-up

NCCA-Logo MasterDorset bounced back from defeat by Herefordshire on Sunday to inflict two defeats on Devon at North Perrott. 

Devon were shot out for just 68 in the opener with spinners Felix Organ and Rob Pack taking six for 26 between them to set up a seven wickets win.

NATIONAL COUNTIES T20 round three round-up

NCCA-Logo MasterRain badly affected matches in the National Counties T20 Trophy third round with Devon and Wiltshire suffering a double washout at Exmouth. 

The first match between Herefordshire and Dorset at Colwall was also washed out but conditions in the Malvern Hills improved and allowed a full second match to be completed and for Herefordshire to secure a comfortable 46 runs win.
